Have you got children aged 4-6? Have they shown a passion or interest in football, sport or even just being physically active? And finally, do you want to help motivate and guide them to achieve their sporting goals? If you’ve answered yes to any of the following questions or even just a little curious…then Family F.C. is the place for you!
Finding suitable football training drills for kids aged 4-6 is never easy. Here at Family F.C. we have all the answers required to support this age group and what better coaches to help deliver our, enjoyable and engaging sessions than a child’s parents, guardians, grandparents or even siblings.
To begin their Family F.C. journey, a programme for kids aged 4-6 has been tailored to enhance children’s love for football while acquiring the basic fundamentals of movement, such as agility, balance, coordination and speed (ABC’s). The further your child and you progress through the 4-6 programme you will see a boost in their range of football skills, as well as development in their physical and emotional development.
Now I am not going to sign off just yet as I believe it is important to leave you with some valuable guidance to help really kick off your journey with Family F.C... Here are three key things to take on board
Firstly, fun! Children thrive physically, socially, and mentally while having fun.
When endorsing physical activity, fun is the core element of learning effectively. If your kids are having fun and learning new skills, you've cracked being their coach.
Secondly, practise without the ball!
To improve a child’s core football skills, it might sound a little odd to not include a ball however, it actually provides a number of benefits and our app has plenty of exercises to do this.
And lastly break things down in steps!
Children especially in ages 4-6 can become overwhelmed when trying new things. Not being able to achieve something can prove to be frustrating as we all know. By breaking down the steps it will help your kids gain a sense of achievement, thats why in sessions we have broken them down into a warm up, a skill, and then a game.
Here at Family F.C. we hope you will enjoy our programmes. So nows is the time to visit our website to find out more about our courses. www.familyfc.com
