Stage 2: As the ball approaches, show them how to position their body so that their back is facing the goal and the ball is behind them.

 

Stage 3: Demonstrate propelling yourself into the air using one foot, while simultaneously extending the other leg over your head, in the direction of the ball. Ask them to copy this example. 

 

Stage 4: Explain that they should aim to make contact with the ball using the underside of their extended leg. The motion will resemble the scorpion's tail striking.

 

Stage 5: After making contact with the ball, tell them that they should allow their legs to continue their motion, resembling the scorpion's tail recoil.

 

Stage 6: Ensure they land safely on the ground, maintaining their balance and avoiding any collisions with opponents or obstacles.
