We now have Sarina Wiegman managing the England team and we are starting to see our team become as popular as women’s soccer in the US. To give them a proper shout out - the USA team have won 4 World Cups and 4 Olympic gold medals and is considered to be the best women’s football team in the world.
Closer to home our England national team came fourth in the 2019 World Cup and we now get to watch some of our favourite players in the Women’s Super League covered on Sky Sports. (At FFC we even reckon the England women’s team could win the World Cup before the Men’s team do it again!).
So, if you are as excited about the future of women’s football as we are, why not check out our FFC app to help you become your daughter's own personal football coach. Whether she's just starting out with casual kick-abouts or is already signed up to a local team, why not consider levelling up her skills with FFC.
What can I expect from FFC?
Our coach Sab Jamal has played at the top level and is one of the coaches that will take your daughter through the exercises - who better to learn from than a pro-female player! We also have named several of our sessions after some of our favorite female players. As a taster, ‘Control it like Carney’ is named after England’s Karen Carney and focuses on the dribbling technique. We also have ‘Strike it like Rapnioe’ which focuses on shooting technique and building accuracy skills. Rapnioe is the USA women’s team captain and one of the best female players in the world.
Don’t forget to follow us on all our social channels to see some of our girls demonstrating their brilliant skills.
Any ideas for new exercises based on your daughter’s favorite players?
Let us know by dropping a comment below or contacting us on any of our social channels and we’ll incorporate your ideas into our new courses as we continue to develop!
Happy Footballing.
